This book, this piece of work, a work of art, is the product of years of long hard labor driven by desire. That desire, to make sense of the sublimated symbols and symbolic nature of the Christian doctrine. To make send of the manifested conflicts inherent in its foundation; its history, theology and political ideology. The authenticity of the Biblical; the Christian agenda as it relates to colonial government policy, leading up to an apology for slavery, is of primary focus in this work.
Deception: In the Name of the Lord, resulted from a desire to make sense of the conflicting beliefs we hold dear as true which too often have no foundation in fact after a careful look at what is presented as evidence. Colonization left us a legacy of beliefs designed for cultural, psychological and economic destabilization. Unfortunately, because of this conditioning our belief systems are laced with adapted religious contaminants that have grown into a enterprise of deceptions, retailed as truths, in the name of the Lord. The line between history and mythology has been blurred. This book is an attempt to separate inherited fictitious beliefs from historical facts.
